I am not a nerd (not that there is anything wrong with that), but I am a man and as such I’m obligated to occasionally neglect women and play video games on a couch with so much dried beer in it that it feels like I’m sitting on yeast. That being said…the new specs for the Xbox 360 look ridiculous. If I can play a version of Halo based on motion capture you suckers don’t stand a chance (I’ll be taking hostages…word). Below are two videos showing off the new features debuted at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in LA this week. It’s actually almost creepy, but if I can physically throw a sticky grenade on ArisonFord (he is real and he is mean) then I am all sorts of down.

Another botched Celebrity List…

Forbes just announced their list of 100 most powerful celebrities. And similar to the Maxim Hot 100 list it looks like they used bingo rules to do their ranking. The most notable misappropriation? ANGELINA JOLIE AT #1?!?!?! Part of me wants to rationalize it because she controls Brad Pitt (#9) and won tied her public beef with Jennifer Aniston (#8). With those two notches on her belt all she really had to do was break the top 10 in order to get the number one spot, but it’s still kind of ridiculous to think that she’d be the one dethrone Queen Oprah. Other notables include Obama being the first active president to make the list (#49) Harrison Ford (#17) still being top 25 material (with Jordan, Lebron, and Cruise all right behind him) and Celine Dion getting snubbed entirely. To be honest the list isn’t terrible especially when compared to the Maxim debauchery (I love you Olivia Wilde but, Eliza and Mila are on my bucket list), but unfortunately I feel like this will get more press (partially my fault).

This is the trailer for an independent film called Breast Picture. It’s about a porn director who tries to make his life more meaningful by producing a full feature film. A good full feature film. The only actors he has though are all porn stars. Looks hilarious. It’s currently in production according to their IMDB page, but I have no release date. I’ll definitely find it the moment it’s available though.

Here is the first episode of Edie Falco’s new show Nurse Jackie on Showtime. I personally enjoyed it and I appreciated the fact that YouTube aired the whole thing before the actual series premiere date of June 8th. I wasn’t sure Falco could carry a show by herself (not because she’s a woman, but because she would always be Carmella Soprano to me), but she cut the hair and reinvented herself. Showtime is owning HBO right now. Note that they did it by stealing their characters. Michael C. Hall was on 6 Feet Under, Sgt. Doakes was in OZ, Falco in Sopranos. And I’m sure there’s more. Anyways, enjoy the show.

In memory of that long, lost era I am posting my Jam of the Weekend. Jeremih’s(yes that’s apparently the correct spelling) song has been in disgustingly heavy (think Soulja Boy heavy) rotation for a little while now and he’s finally released the video to go with it. Personally, I already have a remix idea involving what most men ask for on their birthday. Giggity giggity.

I don’t particularly know about the rest of you, but I grew up on these two. And I’m so glad that they just dropped another album. So glad that I might not even pirate it. In any event here’s a teaser clip from their upcoming webseries The Next 48 Hours with Redman & Method Man.
